Econo Uprights

The Econo upright kit offers an affordable alternative to uprights that use a billet clevis by using a seamless chromoly tube with a 1/4” wall thickness. Instead of using a bolt on snout, econo uprights use a 2” weld-on snout with a caliper flange as a backing plate, which is slotted for locking into the clevis for a precision fit.

The Econo uprights include a billet chromoly kingpin with a laser cut gusset kit to provide the durability needed to handle up to 2000 lbs. and 33” tall tires.

Econo uprights are available in 10°, 12°, 14° and 16° inclinations with either 9-1/4", 10-1/2" and 11-1/2" kingpin lengths. Bolts, nuts, spacers and uniballs are all sold separately.

Prerunner Uprights

The Prerunner uprights provide for an “off-the-shelf” kit with standardized dimensions. This allows fabricators to cheaply and easily manufacture replacements and help reproduce suspension designs, while still providing a design that can be used with a large variety of different hub assemblies and brake calipers.

These Prerunner uprights use a 5.4” billet chromoly clevis and 2” bolt on snouts which can be used for vehicles up to 3500 lbs. with 35” tall tires.

Prerunner uprights are available in 10°, 12° and 14° inclinations and in 9-1/4", 10-1/2" and 11-1/2" kingpin lengths. These are perfect for Class 10 cars, large prerunners and buggies with a-arm suspensions. The kit does not include bolts, nuts, spacers or uniballs.

Full Race Uprights

The full race upright kits offer the next level in strength and safety, by utilizing a 5.9” clevis, and by using a double bolt king pin which uses two bolts instead of one to reduce the stress on the bolts to prevent shearing. This design also offers a larger clevis that not only provides for extra reinforcement, but is capable of using both 2” and 2-1/2” bolt on spindle snouts. With the ability to use two different size snouts, the upright can use a larger variety of hubs and can be used in both Class 1 and Trophy Truck classes.

We offer standardized kits with 14° and 16° inclinations with 12", 13" or 14" lengths. 10° and 12° kits are also available as special order.

The hardware kit includes two 3/4” grade 8 bolts, nylock nuts and kingpin spacers. Uniballs and hi-misalignment spacers are sold separately.

Trophy Truck Uprights

Trophy Truck upright kits build upon the full race kits by taking the same high quality chromoly steel and integrated features and refines them for the heaviest and most powerful desert vehicles. The result is this upright design that’s prefect for the Trophy Truck class and for vehicles that weight up to 7000 lbs. and use as large as 39” tall tires.

These kits use a larger 6.4” clevis and 2.5” bolt-on snouts. It also uses a double bolt king pin and can use ProAm's Trophy Truck and 30 Series hub assemblies.

We offer kits with 14° and 16° inclinations. The hardware kit includes two 3/4” grade 8 bolts, nylock nuts and kingpin spacers. Uniballs and hi-misalignment spacers are sold separately.

Short Course "Lite" Style Uprights

These front upright kits offer to short course racers a pre-fabbed upright for the exciting Lite truck classes. By combining the snout and clevis, weight was reduced and strength was retained by using less material and hardware.

These uprights are designed to use ProAm's front hubs, four piston calipers and use the standard 2.5” Trophy Truck spindle nuts, bearings and races.

These upright kits have a 12° inclination and include the kingpin, 2.5” snout, gusset kit, spindle bolt and 3/4” nylock nut. Rear snouts are also available.

2wd Short Course Uprights

These uprights are designed to be lighter but retain the high degree of strength that our other uprights have through it’s one piece snout and clevis design. These kits are made from 4130 chromoly and feature laser cut gussets, hi-misalignment spacers and a dual bolt kingpin. Unique to these upright is it’s lower uniball cage which provides the same level of durability as our billet clevis uprights.

These uprights are designed to use ProAm's front hubs and four piston race calipers. They use the standard 2.5” Trophy Truck spindle nuts, bearings and races.

These upright kits include the kingpin, lower uniball cage, 2.5” snout, gusset kit, two spindle bolts and two 3/4” nylock nuts. Rear snouts are also available.

I-Beam Clevis

The I-Beam clevis is an alternative to using the Ford 2” weld-on snouts and provide for greater customization and for a stronger alternative to the stock setup. By using a billet 5.4” clevis, this setup allows for the use of 2” bolt on spindle snouts and prerunner hub assemblies without having to use weld on caliper brackets.

Since this design does not modify the I-beam, the clevis can slide over the stock knuckle of the I-Beam and use the stock threaded caps which screw into the bosses for an easy installation.
