EMPI 86-9303C Type 2 Bus Rubber CV Axle Boot For 86-9305 Single Boot Flanges

Use the 60mm to 80mm clamp listed below. The EMPI 86-9304-0 boot has a larger inside diameter on the axle end of the boot and the lip for your hose clamp or zip tie is slightly shorter than the 51104 Latest Rage cross reference for the same boot. Either brand of boot requires EMPI's 86-9305-0 flange.

• EMPI's opening is 1" on the axle side of the boot and the lip is 3/16" wide for your hose clamp
• Latest Rage's opening is 7/8" on the axle side of the boot and the lip is 1/4" wide for your hose clamp

Either brand of boot will work perfectly fine. For reference, the average Sway-A-Way axle is about 0.910" thick on the smooth portion of the axle. So an EMPI 1.00" ID boot is a bit sloppy without a clamp on the end of it and the Latest Rage 0.875" ID boot seals tight on the axle without a clamp on the end of it.
