End Loop and Perch Info
  • The shock comes with a slight cone 1/2" raise bottom spring perch. This perch is slightly taller than what Fox considers the flat perch number 234-00-318-A. You can also purchase the taller cone shaped spring perch number 234-00-324 to help with clearance issues.

  • The shock comes with the 2-1/2" top edge to center short bottom end loop part number 213-01-234-A. You can also purchase any of the longer end loops listed below. Even the end loops for 2.5" shocks will work but you'll also have to purchase AGM's spring perches. Keep in mind that if you switch from a standard 3.0" end loop that uses a 3/4" uniball to a 2.5" end loop, you'll also have to change the uniball to 5/8" and the 2.5" loops aren't nearly as strong as the 3.0"

  • 22" Max combined total spring length without preload
This shock is unique because of the available spring lengths that Eibach or King Shocks offer versus what you can actually fit on this shock because of the nylon spring guide just below the spring divider.

If you want to run a single spring, you could use a single 22" long spring (with a cone perch) or a single 24" spring (with a flat perch).

If you want to run dual springs, without preload it would fit any of these 22" combinations:

    • 4" upper and 18" lower
    • 6" upper and 16" lower
    • 7" upper and 15" lower
Common available spring lengths from Eibach are 8" / 10" / 12" / 14" / 16" / 18" / 20" / 22" / 24". King Shocks does offer 4" / 6" / 15" springs, but not a large variety of spring rates. If you run an 8" upper spring you will have to preload it 1/2" because the spring divider will butt up against the nylon spring guide.

Running the preloaded 8" top spring with the spring divider up against the nylon spring guide leaves you with 15-1/8" from divider to bottom spring perch. If you run a 16" lower then you'll preload that spring almost 1". If you run a 14" lower then when the suspension is at full droop, the 14" spring wouldn't be touching the spring divider. It would be resting against the nylon spring guide.
