Description
Get rid of cavitation air bubbles in your shocks. Especially on piggyback coil overs or internal and external bypass shocks, where you can't flip the reservoir upside down to bleed it while filling the shock body with oil.
On some of the new style buggy, truck and UTV Fox shocks, they have a bleeder screw in the center of the piston to eliminate any air pocket underneath it. Because of that bleeder screw, you can no longer use a conventional 1/4"-20 thread IFP tool to set the depth or remove the piston. Instead, there's a special tool that sits on top of the piston and you turn the tool a quarter turn to grab onto the piston.

This piston ONLY fits the Fox 2.5" aluminum reservoirs. It DOES NOT fit the old style steel reservoirs that Fox used to make. It uses the 5/16" tall soft brown wear bands.
The center hole uses a countersunk flat head allen 10-24 coarse thread 1/2" long screw with 3/16" inside diameter o-ring. Fox Power Sports DOES NOT include this allen screw, however the piston made by Schmidty Racing does include the allen screw.
