On a dual shock coil carrier and bypass shock setup, it's common to need a little more compression dampening on the coil over, but you'll want the fastest rebound possible. Some setups will simply have washers above and below the shock's piston allowing the oil to free flow in either direction. However, when you want extra compression in the coil-carrier, you'll need a check valve on the rebound side to block the rebound ports, otherwise the rebound ports would feed into the compression shim stack when the shock is compressing down.

Dimensions:
• Top Shim: 0.504" ID x 1.600" OD x 0.020" thick
• Spacer: 0.504" ID x 0.745" OD x 0.340" tall
• Bottom Shim: 0.754" ID x 1.600" OD x 0.020" thick

Because of how Fox designed their check valve kit, you can change the bottom shim diameter to work on other diameter shocks. Just keep in mind that the OD of the widest part of that spring is 1.515" OD. The OD of the largest rebound shim that goes up against a 2.0" piston is 1.425" so you'll have to come up with a smaller OD spring. The OD of the largest rebound shim that goes up against a 3.0" piston is 1.800".
