FPS 218-00-002 Proportional 400 PSI Electronic Cartridge Solenoid Control Valve For Fox UTV Shocks

WARNING! Before you can take the shock apart to replace your solenoid, you'll have to drain the nitrogen gas out of the shock first. THE SHOCK IS PRESSURIZED!.

The valves are normally "closed" without power going to them. You'll need to power them in order to service the shock. Both Fox and SDi Suspension Direct Inc, developed a tool (sold separately) that allows you to power and open electronic shock valves that have a standard Deutsch Connector. This is a must for servicing the delicate solenoid Live Valves safely.

There is also a 3/8" specialty socket wrench part number 398-00-434-0 (sold separately) that removes the black retaining nut holding the above 218-00-002 Live Valve into the piston/valving housing. Once the nut and Live Valve are removed, you can then remove the snap ring holding the piston/valving housing in place.

The socket wrench, powering kit, retaining ring and plastic cap are sold separately and shown only for reference.
