Description
Suck it up, this is racing... Almost all desert racing sanctioning bodies require some sort of mat for the fueler.
Motorsports, especially desert racing, are brutal on man and machine. These conditions are what the reusable absorbent Fuel Mat was created for. Being a large fuel sponge, for lack of a better description, sucking up spilt fuel. Made tough to last in the harshest desert conditions while reducing fuel spillage into the environment.
This is a spill management mat that is designed to capture most minor spills, overfills, splashes or drips that occur when fueling the vehicle or handling of fuels.
G1 Product's absorbent material is twice as thick compared to any pads available. Encased in a fire resistant vinyl and polyester material, their 18oz and 22oz PVC coated fabrics are NFPA 701 Certified Fire resistant and self extinguishing* Durable 600 denier polyester top, using UVR thread. As with any fuel or accelerant, use extreme caution around ignition sources.
Warning:
Once exposed to oil based products, the Fuel Mat takes on the characteristics of the fluids contained in it and is considered a Hazardous Material when wet. At the end of its life, it must be disposed of in accordance to Federal, State and Local laws. Use at your own risk. Fuel Mat is only to be used for minor fuel spillage. Not to be used for unintended purposes. Once exposed to automotive fluids, fuels, oils & other petroleum based products, the mat is a FIRE HAZARD. Keep away from flames or ignition sources. ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher close by. Do not use or store near ignition sources or in occupied areas. Fumes are dangerous and can ignite or explode or can cause dizziness and death.
