If you're installing this stud on a VW brake drum ALWAYS make sure the stud doesn't stick through the back of the brake drum and catch on your brake springs. Stock Volkswagen brake drums come in a variety of different thickness depending on if the drum was made in Germany, Brazil, Italy, or any other country.
ALWAYS use Red Loctite on thread in wheel studs to install them into your brake rotor or brake drum.
