Description
King Shocks have a new level of versatility and performance. King shocks, with their wide range compression adjuster, gives you the ability to precisely adjust compression from super soft to super firm with the simple twist of a knob. The clearly marked knob offers 27 positive clicks of finely tuned adjustment. You can soften your ride when just cruising or firm up the compression when hammering rough terrain or carrying additional passengers. You'll have the ultimate in performance regardless of your pursuit. Existing King shock owners are not left out when it comes to the added performance offered by the wide range compression adjuster. Your shocks can be easily upgraded with this new technology. King is continuously striving to bring you the most innovative and best performing shocks in the world.
Note 1:
Older King Shocks used 3/8" NPT pipe thread hoses. Modern King Shocks use AN #6 ORB o-ring hoses. This compression adjuster uses AN #6 ORB so if your current hose is 3/8" NPT pipe thread, then you will also need to purchase the adapter hoses listed below.
Note 2:
The port on the compression adjuster can point up or down. It does not matter.
Note 3:
You can't use your original reservoirs because they take a clip on the top and bottom. The compression adjust requires a threaded top.
Standard Reservoir Sizes:
2.0" x 8" Stroke shock standard uses a 9" reservoir
2.0" x 10" Stroke shock standard uses a 9" reservoir
2.0" x 12" Stroke shock standard uses a 12" reservoir
2.0" x 14" Stroke shock standard uses a 12" reservoir
2.0" x 16" Stroke shock standard uses a 12" reservoir
