King Shocks 25524-101 Rebound Pop Off Check Valve Kit Assembly For 2.5" Body Shocks - Does 1 Shock

On a dual shock coil carrier and bypass shock setup, it's common to need a little more compression dampening on the coil over, but you'll want the fastest rebound possible. Some setups will simply have washers above and below the shock's piston allowing the oil to free flow in either direction. However, when you want extra compression in the coil-carrier, you'll need a check valve on the rebound side to block the rebound ports, otherwise the rebound ports would feed into the compression shim stack when the shock is compressing down.

Will also work on Sway-A-Way RaceRunner Shocks that have the larger 5/8" stem top. Will not work on the shocks running the 9/16" stem top.

Because of how King designed their check valve kit, you can change it up to work on other diameter shocks. The OD of the largest rebound shim that goes up against a 2.0" piston is 1.45" so you'll have cut the OD of that aluminum spacer down on a lathe. The OD of the largest rebound shim that goes up against a 3.0" piston is 2.05" so you could stack a 2.05" x 0.020" shim underneath that aluminum spacer but you'll have to drill out that shim because the OD on that nut is 0.810".
