Description
Locking jet nuts are common in the offroad racing industry because of their small hex size. This allows you to get a socket over the nut in a tight space. They have a distorted thread, similar to a stover locknut.
This nut uses a 7/16" socket and has a 5/8" outside diameter flange. It is commonly used on our bolt-on spindle snouts when the backing plate or clevis is not threaded.
