Description

Note: These push in pins are too thick to fit through Long Tru-Cool oil coolers. For Long Tru-Cool use Spal's 30130013 pins.

Mounting Instructions
  • Slide the plastic mounting brackets onto the fan. maradyne m0912t nylon mounting kit for efe electric fan engineering maradyne or spal electric fans up to 12 inches in diameter
  • Peel the backing and stick 4 square spacers on the fan shroud as shown in Figure 1. Install the 4 round spacers on the tie straps as shown.
  • Position the fan on heat exchanger, radiator or oil cooler.
  • Make a passageway through the cooler fins using #1 phillips screwdriver. Use hand pressure only, insuring the heat cooler is not damaged.
  • Slide the tie strap through the plastic mounting brackets, spacers, and cooler as shown. Secure with plastic lock on opposite side of the cooler as shown in Figure 2.

Important: It's the installer's responsibility to determine suitability for the individual application. It is recommended to periodically check the fan to make sure it has not become loose which can lead to damage of the cooler. This is an economy solution to mounting a fan to an oil cooler, radiator or heat exchanger when you don't already have mounts welded onto the cooler to mount a fan. For offroad racing, it's always best/strongest to weld on mounting brackets to hold a fan.
