Unlike organic materials (cotton and cellulose) OTR's synthetic fibers stay stable over its entire life. It doesn't shrink or degrade with time and exposure to harsh atmospheric environments. Their filters require NO oiling and can be cleaned out by using compressed air.

A support stud is offered on many of OTR's air filters. This allows you to build a support bracket, especially when the filter is mounted horizontally. Part numbers ending in the letter "S" have that stud moulded into the top of the air filter. Part numbers not ending in the letter "S" will not have that stud.
