This 12 inch Elite female to Trax male adapter cable allows you to run your Elite headset or helmet in a vehicle that has a Trax stereo intercom system.
If you've ever hopped in your friend's truck or buggy with your Elite helmet or headset, only to realize they have a Trax stereo intercom and you can't plug in. This simple adapter solves that problem.

Elite 4 conductor mono plugs are slightly shorter than Trax 5 conductor stereo plugs. The two conductor types are not interchangeable unless you purchase an adapter cable. PCI color codes their plugs. 4 conductor mono plugs have a black cover and 5 conductor Trax stereo plugs have a gray cover.
