Description

PME's 5.9 clevis. 8 bolt 3-3/4" bolt pattern. Center indexing hole is approximately 2-7/8" in diameter.

Each hole is 3/8"-24 fine thread for the bolt-on spindle snout.

When used with their 10-7/8" upper kingpin sleeve, you'll end up with 14" on center.

This setup is designed for 1-1/2" inside diameter upper and lower uniballs or heim joints. When making these uprights, we normally stock king pins for 14" on center. We do stock other king pins, misalignments and spindle bolts to mix and match to make a variety of heights. Email us if you need a special center to center height.

Everything for these billet uprights are sold á la carte. You'll need to consider degree of inclination, center to center on the uniballs, bolt length (usually 8-1/2" upper and 9-1/4" lower on this setup), and what brake hubs you plan to use. Depending on the brake hubs that you want to run, you could either use 2" hollow or 2-1/2" hollow spindles.

You can cut the king pin down if you need a shorter center to center but you'll have to compensate with your bolt length and re-step the kingpin on a lathe.

You will have to make your own caliper brackets. We do not offer those.

The top of the kingpin is stepped and requires a certain misalignment that indexes onto that step. Part number HMA15034PRM.

    spindle degree of inclination explained
In an ideal situation, the center point of the spindle's inclination will intersect the center point of the tire. This isn't always possible because of the backspace on your wheel and where the brake hub lands. Often times when you're building a vehicle, you won't already have the brakes, wheel and tire already in hand to fine tune exactly where everything will be.

If your front a-arms are already fabricated, you can draw an imaginary line from the upper uniball to the lower uniball. This will give you an idea of what spindle inclination your vehicle is setup for. Of course, on any vehicle you'll have adjustment points to adjust your camber which will affect what degree you come up with when measuring your inclination.
