Description
These rear torsion housing knobby style grommets are designed to provide increase rigidity over stock VW rubber grommets. Sold in a set of two.
Stock VW spring plates would use:
Early Swing Axle used 1 3/4 inch round
1950-1960 Type 1 Beetle use 1 7/8 inch round inner with 1 7/8 knobby outer
1961-1968 Type 1 Beetle use 1 7/8 inch knobby inner with 1 3/4 knobby outer
1965-1968 Type 3 use 1 7/8 inch knobby inner with 1 7/8 knobby outer
1968 Semi-automatic transmissions used 1969-1979 grommets
1969-1979 Type 1 Beetle or Type 3 use 1 7/8 inch knobby inner with 1 7/8 round outer
Sway-A-Way VW spring plates would use:
1 7/8 outer grommets
1 3/4 inner grommets
Sway-A-Way Adjustable VW spring plates would use:
1 7/8 outer grommets
2 inch inside diameter inner grommets
