Note: These 1/16" pins are sold individually. You'll have to purchase 4 of them for 1 fan.
Mounting Instructions
Important: It's the installer's responsibility to determine suitability for the individual application. It is recommended to periodically check the fan to make sure it has not become loose which can lead to damage of the oil cooler. This is an economy solution to mounting a fan to an oil cooler when you don't already have mounts welded onto the oil cooler to mount a fan. For offroad racing, it's always best/strongest to weld on mounting brackets to hold a fan.
Mounting Instructions
- Slide the plastic mounting brackets onto the fan
- Position the fan on the oil cooler.
- Make a 1/16" passageway through the oil cooler fins, use hand pressure only, insuring the oil cooler is not damaged.
- Secure the rectangular steel shaft retainers (clips) on opposite side of the cooler as shown in Figure 2.
